This post should have been written quite a while ago but since a lot of my time recently has been spent worrying about the prospect of becoming homeless, it meant that everything else took a slight backseat. Now that’s all sorted though we can get back to more exciting things, like another new addition to Tangled Talk Records, this time in the form of Eastbourne based three piece, Let’s Talk Daggers.

We’ve got a number of releases planned for the rest of the year and we’ve been working with a bunch of new artists on some incredible, and very diverse projects. “Island Living”, the title track off of Bastions’ upcoming EP will be played for the first time tonight on Adam Walton’s Show on BBC Radio Wales. Adam Walton has been a fan of the band for quite a while, frequently playing them on the show as well as getting the band down to record their first two live sessions. Anyone that was present at Bastions’ recent shows on their tour with Maths will have heard the track live. More information about the release will be coming very soon.

Cemaes Bayfest is returning to Anglesey, North Wales this weekend for the fourth year running. Held over two days in Llanbadrig Vineyard, the event features a pretty diverse line up showcasing drum and bass, dance and electro acts on Friday; with rock, punk and metal bands making up the Saturday bill. Bastions are playing (on the Saturday line-up surprisingly) alongside bands like Deaf Havana, Through Colour, Seagull Kineval, Make Like Madeline and a bunch of others.
